Working in HVAC isn’t just a job — it’s a full-body sport. Between attics that feel like 130°, and days where you lift, crawl, stretch, sweat, and sprint more than a personal trainer… your body needs recovery.
That's why we’re sharing the real things we do to recover after long days. And yes, we included links to the tools we personally use so you can try them too.
💆🏾♂️1. Hop on a Vibration Plate
After a day of crawling, climbing, bending, and doing whatever weird pose the job requires, circulation takes a hit. The solution?
A vibration plate. Just a few minutes on one helps with lymphatic drainage, circulation, and loosening tight muscles. Most of us stand on it while scrolling TikTok or watching “just one last” YouTube video before bed. Low effort. Big payoff.

👐🏾 2. Sink Into a Neck Massager
There is a specific kind of soreness that only HVAC pros understand — the “I carried a furnace upstairs but also spent 20 minutes pretending to be a contortionist behind a water heater” soreness.
That's where a good massager comes in. It can provide pain relief, stress reduction, and improved flexibility & posture, to name just a few benefits. We like to use heated neck massagers (that also work on your back) for those stubborn knots and kinks.
